Ease of set up.

I followed all the set up instructions, but was not able to connect "wirelessly". However, once I searched for the printer on my computer, I found it was easily located and easy to connect with the driver and all I needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to Install

I found the Epson XP-410 installation very easy compared to previous experiences. The CD launcher stepped me through all the requirements in an easy way, there were no hiccups!

Some of the features are similar to the earlier model that I have used i.e.. TX110, but this has a control panel rather than separate buttons that you push for 'print' and'scan'. To be frank, I am a little sceptical about the need for these additional features, I prefer to keep things simple. Having said that, it is printing and scanning well, although as yet I am not sure about the cost of the ink cartridges. The instruction leaflet that I received does not provide a great deal of information, or at least, it does not inform the user of the need for a USB connection. There is of course a plug in, but this is not indicated in the accompanying leaflet, only that the printer must be connected to the power point.. I realize that technology is improving all the time, but please spare a thought for the user who does not have a degree in computer science.

I have had my new printer for only a short time and have so far found that it meets my needs very well indeed. Also it is easy to use and fast enough to satisfy me. Using the disk provided, setting up was easy, which surprised me as I'm not particularly technically adept.
I did think I might have a problem a few days ago so looked at the product manual online and found the answer; also downloaded and filed the manual for future reference.

We have just bought this printer for the office, haven't used it a whole lot yet, but set up was really simple and print quality appears to be excellent.
