We had a freezer that was only 5 years old, and one day in early may, 2014, it decided it didn't want to work anymore. So off we went to shop for a new freezer. We looked at several types and brands, but found none that impressed us. Undaunted, we kept looking for the "perfect" freezer. As soon as Sabrina opened the door on the Frigidaire 20.7 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer, I knew that our search was over. She fell in love with that freezer immediately, and I knew there would be no talking her out of buying it. So buy it we did. She has never been happier with any other appliance, as it puts a smile on her face every time she opens the freezer door to either take something out or put something in it. We both love the versatility of adjustable shelves in the door, and the "soft freeze" area is totally awesome! This freezer holds so many items, we never have to worry about something not fitting in it. It freezes everything really, really cold, just like it's supposed to do. We look forward to enjoying using this freezer for many years to come. It is without a doubt the most awesome upright manual defrost freezer we have ever owned. Should it ever have to be replaced, there is no doubt in either of our minds that we will buy another one just like this one, as we absolutely LOVE everything about it!!! Great Freezer

I bought this freezer to replace our 25 year old chest freezer. It is so much easier to find what I am looking for in this freezer. So far this has been a great freezer.
