The player is slow in response to anything. It feels like it was programmed with Microsoft Basic. It also doesn't have Hulu and the software is not updated very often. I think the last software upgrade is from 2013. Other than those things it is reliable and the video is excellent.
Pros: graphics are great.
Cons: software not upgraded enough.

Can't find WiFi

Won't let me select (connect to Wi-Fi). Only WIRERED ETHERNET. Box & book manual says it has built-in Wi-Fi settings, so when I select (internet option) only let's me select WIRERED ETHERNET connection. I tried a new update I even hard reset my device, still nothing....

excellent features, but slow and unreliable netflix app and remote function

excellent feature set as far as upscaling 480p content, handling audio formats, and even playing divx / xvid content in .avi or .mkv format.
when controlling the netflix app however, some videos disagree with the player and they constantly stutter, and the remote functions can be very sluggish at times in both netflix and vudu.
great player as far as discs and hard drives go, vudu playback seems to work fine, but the function is not so great if you plan to use netflix alot.
i would give it 5 stars if all the apps and menus were snappy and i never had an issue with the remote getting so sluggish that its frustrating to use.
Pros: non-netflix / vudu menus are smooth, ability to play xvid / h.264 in .avi / .mkv, 480p upscaling, firmware easily updates over net via menu
Cons: netflix app may stutter badly on some videos, remote functions can be very sluggish in apps
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

was good product for the money difficult to access the apps still having troubltheme connecting to
Pros: great picture and sound

Excellent value .Front mounted USB streams my 1 TB drive, so I have hundreds of movies at my fingertips. Easy to set up. Delivers quality movies.
