stylish, clean lines and great function

I love this oven/range. my only problem is (and this is a problem with all glass tops) is that sometimes, it can be difficult to clean. my husband uses a product called barkeepers friend and that seems to work well. windex does not do it. I really like that it keeps a red light glowing after it's turned off to let you know that it's still hot. We have a ten month old daughter who is always trying to get into everything so the red light is a great help to teach her not to touch. the oven buttons are easy to use- you don't have to be a rocket scientist to set the different features. all in all, we are very happy with this product

Excellent, classic slide-in electric stove

I purchased this slide-in stove in December 2014. It is a perfect fit for the space in my kitchen. I love that it is a very classic looking stove. The elements heat up quickly and maintain their heat. Two elements allow for two size pots, which is a nice feature in case you are not using more than one large pot at a time and need the additional three elements for smaller pots. The oven is spacious and accommodates large roasters and cookie sheets. It heats up quickly and have accurate temperature control. I like that the lowest temperature is perfect for placing my yeast breads in the oven to rise. The stove allows you to calibrate the temperature in case it is not accurate. The drawer is a bit smaller than I anticipated, but hold my very large cooling racks and large skillet. This stove has many additional features for timer, self cleaning, etc.

Fancy new stove

I bought this stove after using another brand for 25 years. I love everything about it with the exception of the black ceramic top. It is hard to keep clean and my pans slide off the burners when I stir. Time using it will make a big difference I am sure. Everyday gets easier. The oven is large and accommodating. A oven this size is a must.

We bought this a few weeks ago, and so far are happy with it. The glass top takes a little care to keep nice, but hopefully will pay off. The timer is a little strange in that it doesn't allow you to program less than or parts of one minute. It is taking a little getting used to, but not a deal breaker. Overall am happy with it.

We had to replace our range about a month ago. We had a Whirlpool before and I was very pleased with the features and how it cooked. So far this range is performing to our satisfaction.

Beautiful range

The only complaint I have about this product is that the timer function is strange. The timers on ranges I've had in the past have always taken entries in minutes and seconds, while this one is hours and minutes. Granted, you never need to be exact with timing down to the second so it actually makes more sense to have it be a hour/minute combination. However, the way it is digitally displayed looks--at least to me--like a minute/second combination...the first meal was waaaaay overcooked because my 20-minute timer (or whatever it was) never went off. It only took one cooking mishap to recognize and correct it, but my parents did the same thing when they were in town visiting.

Good range, but bad electronics

The oven timer stopped working two and a half months after purchase. When the warranty repair man got the timer part and went in to replace it, he found a fault in the mother board. This required ordering a new board, which extended the length of time in which we had only partial function on the range. Otherwise, we have been satisfied with the range and its features.

GREAT PRODUCTS

I wasn't thrilled at first with the black and glass top oven. I thought the finger prints and dust on black. But now I absolutely love it. Easy to clean and cooking quicker than I remember my last electric range cooked. Whirlpool makes a great reliable product. Thank you!
