I have not needed to use the self cleaning feature yet but both the cook top and baking in the oven have gone very well. The drawer is a little flimsy but not a big prolem unless you really need the storage space for heavier items.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good for the price

Its a good oven that does all the standard baking and roasting very well. Oven temp is consistent and predictable. Only problem is the top burners heat up higher than expected and are difficult to adjust at medium to low temps. They get much hotter than expected at the lower settings.

Do not like black color

I have had this stove for about 2 months and I am very unhappy with the black color of the glass cook top. This is the second glass cooking surface I have had and I liked the gray color much better. It was so much easier to clean and it looked clean. This black always looks dirty and something looks like it is burned on 2 of the burners and will not come clean even after going back to the store I purchased the stove and buying glass top cleaner. I am so disappointed that I have this stove that I don't like and feel like I am stuck with it. My first stove I kept very clean and you could not tell that it was over 12 years old
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this range !!

This was a replacement for 23 year old range. Oh my goodness, what a difference. This range is not only beautiful , it also cooks everything so much better. My cakes rise higher and are level. The oven heats up fast. I love the burners having two sizes to choose from. This range exceeded my expectations.

This stove works great. it has electronic controls for the oven though which takes a little time to get used to. It does a great job and looks very nice.

I love the way this oven roasts and bakes, it almost works as a convection oven, everything seems to bake evenly. The stovetop works great as well, although it's not easy to clean. I find that I am spending twice as much time cleaning this stovetop as I did on my old G.E. I would still strongly recommend this product.

THIS PRODUCT LASTED OVER 40 YEARS AND WAS STILL COOKING WITH A MINIMUM OF REPAIRS. WHIRLPOOL MAKES A VERY GOOD PRODUCT.
