Bought this in April to replace a 20 year old one. The new one cooks very fast. I no longer have to add minutes to suggested cook times. Love it.l

We reviewed many difference stoves and chose our Whirlpool as it fit our need the best. Only problem we have found is that the front left burner is much hotter than others. Easy to adjust.

almost awesome oven

I replaced a freestanding that i've had for years, wanted something to fit a smooth countertop. Bought a Whirlpool dishwasher a few years ago and just love it so why not a Whirlpool range. So far it does a good job of cooking on the smooth top, but oven seems a little underpowered. It is slow to preheat and seems to take longer to cook the food. My biggest complaint so far is that it scratches very easily, The glass top has a few bad ones as does the black painted body of cooktop area. not what I would expect from a upper end range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is our first glass top range. It looks awesome. and fit perfectly into the space that has probably been here since the house was built. like other reviews say it will not go all the way back. we had about a 1.5 to 2 inch gap between the back of the range and the wall. we bought the gap filler kit and all looks well. So far everything works well. it heats fast. I do have one complaint....pots and pan will slide around very easily and we do have one place where the glass over a burner is scratched up a little. this was made from a pot sliding around. Best thing about this range is how good it looks.

We were going to purchase a regular stand a lone range, but my wife saw this slide in and that was it. We really like the range. Only negative is the oven warm up time. I feel it takes too long, but we really like it overall.

This is a good no nonsense range. it does everything you could want a range to do... cook food. We chose because of the great price point and it cosmetically went with our remodel.
