Just what I never knew I needed!

Stand up mixer was a gift to me. I honestly want too excited, as I have no problem with mixing things in a more manual way, but, once I tried it? I’m making scones weekly, and shredding chicken for my homemade dog foods, cheeses for various dishes, and I’m so thankful for my, now, favorite gift I received! I never knew How much I needed this mixer!

Everything I hoped for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago for our summer home in Maine. I have a similar KA mixer, but it is a tilt head stand mixer, that I use in Florida. I use it regularly for kneading bread, mixing batters for desserts, and anything else that needs a mixer. It seems to be somewhat less powerful than the one I have in Florida, as the speed noticeably slows down when kneading. But the unit doesn't get hot and it kneads for more than 5 or 6 minutes without any problem. I also found that it is easier to change beaters with the tilting head model. But overall I am very satisfied with this mixer and am looking forward to many years of use from it.
