[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is easy to use and strait forward functionality. It makes it easy to make frosting, cake mixes and pizza dough. I use it about 3 times a month on average and more during the holidays.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 4quart KitchenAid tilt mixer for over 30 years it was great. Started doing more cake decorating needed the larger bowl for bigger icing recipes. My husband got me the 5 quart as a Christmas gift. Was so excited. Instead of tilting back, the bowl lowers. He didn't realize that was an option. Nor did I. It"s a terrible design. In order to remove the beater, it dips down into whatever your mixing. It also leaves quite a bit of the ingredients in the bottom and sides of the bowl unincorporated.I despise returning things so I've kept it but it's so so disappointing. If anyone is going to invest in a KitchenAid get the tilt machine.
Would NOT recommend this to anyone.
Pros: kitchenaid usually great product
Cons: Bad design

Amazing Mixer!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a stand mixer for years. I started a small bakery out of my home and received a Kitchen Aid stand mixer as a gift from my mother in law. Most likely because I was borrowing hers all the time. I could not be happier it has cut my prepping time in half and it so easy and versatile to use. My daughter loves to use as well as my husband. I am slowly adding attachments to the mixer and haven't been disappointed with any of them. I am already planning my next purchase for a second one only I want to get the 8 quart bowl for my really large baking orders.

No edge beater for this model
