[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a kitchenaid mixer since i was 10 years old! I know that may seem odd , but I grew up baking in the kitchen with my grandma. Everything she made was always from scratch and always made with love. I can't tell you how many hours we spent together over the 26 yrs i spent in the kitchen with her , but i can tell you they were the best . The joke in my family is i could make a cake from scratch by myself before i could tie my own shoes. Grandmas most important piece of equipment was her kitchenaid bowl lift stand mixer. 35 yrs ago she got hers as a gift from my grandfather and it still works . So last month i got my own! I love it ! I have made so many of my grandmas recipes since i got it . I've made cinnamon rolls with my dough hook , meringues with my whisk attachment, and Grandma's home made icing with my paddle attachment . just to name a few . Its so simple to use and such a great piece of equipment . funny how a mixer can hold so many memories for me.But i was a grandma's girl and the kitchen was our place. i know she is with me in spirit every time I turn on my kitchenaid mixer
and make one of her famous recipes. I firmly believe you get what you pay for and although it may seem like a lot to some to pay for a mixer it is well worth the investment . They are quality made machines that work to perfection and can last a lifetime with proper care . take it from a second generation kitchenaid bowl-lift stand mixer purchaser. it's worth every penny and any bakers dream come true!

Best present ever

Well, I've grown up with a kitchenaid my whole life, but moving out I found it to be a bit out of my price range, but that's expected as a student. Anyhow my girlfriend got me one and I absolutely love it, I've made something in it everyday that I've had it. If I had any complaints all I would say is I wish the accesories weren't so much, but that's alright, it's a wonderful product.

I have arthritis and sometimes my hands hurt from using a hand mixer. This is so much easier on me! Love all the features and things it can do!
