[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a great machine. It makes great coffee and there is more than enough to drink a couple cups in the morning and take a travel mug for two people. It also looks great on my counter.

The programing could be simpler for an elderly person who has eye problems and is not used to all of the program choice. The written directions could be more explicit, when describing the features. This seems to be the norm these days with written instructions and even PDF's. The brewing is quick and the beverage comes out nice and hot. The dual filter is nice, however I have found the gold filter basket leaves a fine sediment in the coffee. I have not found that to be the case with the paper filters.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Smells moldy

The first one lasted for many years & we loved it, but then the water reservoir started leaking. My husband dropped the reservoir on the 2nd one & it cracked. The one we have currently was purchased not even 2 months ago & smells so moldy it turns your stomach. We've tried cleaning it but that did not help. Very disappointed & will be returning it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this coffee maker for my mom for Christmas. I thought it would be a nice gift but it has not worked right since day one. It has never brewed 14 cups of coffee, the water leaks out of the bottom of the coffee maker, the grounds get in your coffee and somehow down the side of the coffee maker and when you try to pour the coffee from the carafe, it drips down the side of the carafe and makes a mess. I have been burned twice by the water dripping all over the place. Extremely disappointed...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great coffee maker that is easily programmed and delivers consistently brewed coffee regardless of amount selected; 4 to 14 cups. It is also one of the few coffee makers on the market that have the 14 cup capacity that works well with larger gatherings. We first saw this coffee maker at my sister's house and ended up ordering it on-line as it is not readily available in our local stores. It was well worth the effort!
