Only real complaint is it's hard to tell what the water level is when pouring into the tank. Fill the carafe to 6 cups but is only 5 in the tank. Otherwise it works. Nice that the burner keeps the coffee hot til I'm done.

I like having the water tank in the back so that it can be easily cleaned. It has always been a problem with coffee pots when you pour water into the unit and eventually mold plus grime cling to the interior. This product also perks a great cup of coffee and looks very streamlined.

Older model was better quality and more reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older model which we LOVED... thus the reason to replace with this one. Unfortunately the digital display goes on and off... making it impossible to program. Giving it 2 stars generously because it still brews when brews button is pushed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

we love the coffee pot from the first pot is has made i would even buy another one like this one in the years to follow if i would ever need another one again. one thing is it recomends a 12-14 cup filter size and we can't find them anywhere at all

Love ..Love.. Love... I enjoyed the coffee from this 14 cup coffee maker for years, but sadly it came to the end of its days. I have been trying to buy a new one but sadly, I was told it is no longer available. PLEASE BRING BACK THE 14 CUP MODEL!!!!!

After 5 years of flawless service, my previous Kitchenaid Architect retired. I found that the newer and improved version looks nearly identical but has some subtle improvements. The swing out coffee filter basket is much nicer than the previous model and the LED display is much easier to read. I really like the removable water reservoir.
