Bad product/bad customer service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Original purchase lasted 4 months and was replaced with refurbished unit. That lasted a couple weeks and Christmas morning pieces started falling out of it before we even used it that morning. I am a diehard kitchen aid fan but this is the worst. Tired of calling and going through the third degree every time there is an issue with this coffee maker
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love is the word. Love every feature to this coffee maker, from the quality of taste of the brew, to the ability to clean every component so easily. With removable water tank and coffee grind holder, it was a breeze to throw the components into the dishwasher and use the clean cycle for the rest. 14 cup capacity at its best. Unfortunately, after many years mine has made its last pot, and we are a family that drinks coffee from sun up to sundown! This heals up beautifully! Top quality!!! PLEASE, KITCHENAID, GET THIS O E ON THE MARKET AGAIN!!! Nothing compares!!!!!

I am very pleased with all the functions and the quality of this coffee maker. The price is very reasonable. We actually purchased a very fancy coffee maker but chose to return since it did not have the features that we liked in this coffee maker I.e. Warming plate, large carafe. We are very pleased with this purchase and will continue to purchase Kitchen Aid products.

Customer service was great and there were no issues with the exchange. However, I regularly find brewed coffee under the machine and can't find where it keeps coming from.

I do not recommend this product! I do not know what they made the smoke colored plastic out of but it has a strong odor everytime I go to make coffee even after I have cleaned it
