[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have you ever considered what the water tank looks like on your old coffee pot? It is dark & damp, perfect for growing mold. I love the (easy to clean), detachable water tank! The brewing features on this coffee machine are supreme. The brew cycle is fast, the coffee delicious. Programming the available features to fine tune when and how strong you'd like your coffee is a breeze. My husband loves the coffee this machine brews.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had 2 of the KitchenAid KCM1402OB coffee makers now in the last 2 years. Both had the Err 2 message come up only after a few months of use! After the first time we called customer service, and Kitchen Aid was happy to send us another coffee maker. We had to return the old one in the box the new one came in. Now we are 6 months or so in with the new one and the same Err 2 has popped up again and it is taking forever for the coffee to brew and will not stay hot long! going back to Kitchen Aid yet again to see what they are willing to do now!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
