[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past 3 years our kitchen has featured several 'major' brand coffee makers, each would operate 'as advertised' for a short period of time and then fail in some major way. I told my wife I was going to go buy an old percolator since I have NEVER had an issue with the old technology. She said wait, she had another idea. She ordered the KitchenAid 14 Cup Glass Carafe Coffee Maker. Modern technology and Great Coffee! HOLY COW! This unit actually DOES work AS ADVERTISED and the coffee is fabulous! We are now looking for the next kitchen appliance that will be replaced with a KitchenAid! We're sold!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this coffee maker for several years. In the beginning, it was great. The last 6-12 months hasn't been so great. The brew basket flings open spewing hot water, grounds everywhere, while still brewing or right after brewing. This makes a mess everywhere and lots of grounds in the coffee. This morning was the last 'straw' will be looking for a new coffee maker today. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this coffeemaker. It is so easy to clean. It is nice that you can make 14 cups. It is a little nosier than I thought it would be. I definitely would by this again. I love the red color. It makes my kitchen pop.
