[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes good coffee but it has an issue with the coffee ground door. The prior configuration of this model had a door you opened and closed manually and it worked great. This one has a release button which pops open when the pot of coffee is almost finished brewing. Quire an inconvenience. I returned one and got a replacement with the same problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brew basket pops open.

Everytime we brew a pot of coffee as soon as its done brewing the brew basket pops open on it own and drips coffee everywhere. I originally thought maybe the coffee was too heavy. I tried running just water through it and sure enough as soon as it was done it popped right open. Is there a fix for this I hate to get rid of this coffee maker but I am so disappointed.
