I've tried others but was not happy and decided to purchase another kitchen aid coffee. I figured why not stay with what works best for me.

I thought I had found a wonderful coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this coffee maker in black less than a year ago. It make wonderful coffee. I absolutely loved it and everyone loved the coffee it made. Then last week I woke up to ERR on the screen and the pot would not brew nor the heating plate even get warm. I've tried to reset and everything I can think of nothing works. It would have been worth the price if it worked for longer but the price is way to high if it has to be replaced every 8 months. So disappointed. I wish I had read others comments before buying. My rating below was for when it worked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointing!

After following the instructions (very poorly documented and complicated), the blinking indicator light won't go out. No assistance from KitchenAid in resolving this issue just an apology. Very disappointing from a company I always thought was quality oriented.
