wonderful coffee pot with a few down sides/problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this coffee pot with points saved up on my credit card and I do really like the removable water tank. The auto brew is wonderful. I like my coffee ready and hot when I get up in the morning and this coffee pot delivers just that. Have had a issue with coffee pot turning off, but figured out that it only does it when it is time to clean/descale. The display is only half way showing and I have only had the coffee maker for approx 5 months, also the water tank leaks from the bottom so I have to use a rag under it when filling so that I don't get water all over the counter. I also have a issue with the water filter not staying in the tank, the slightest movement and it pops out. I would recommend this coffee maker to a friend but also warn them of the issues that I have had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this coffee machine, especially the water filter feature, we live in FL and we have hard water, however, i do not use faucet water, i use bottle water. I had to return the first one, due to a crack in the water tank. what is very frustrating with this particular machine is that instructions clearly say to reactivate the programmed time, press and hold the brew button, and the auto indicator will turn on and the coffee maker will begin brewing at the programmed time. This function does not work. To reactivate the programmed time I have to go through the entire set up step process every night, which is annoying. this is clearly a flaw.. with my other less expensive coffee machine, i did not have to go through this process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one was to replace one I purchased last year. The factory didn't have a refurbished one to send me so they sent me a new one. It's a fine coffeemaker and I like the reliability of Kitchen Aid.
