this product has great features, not only does it make great coffee, it has a lift off water reservoir that can be easily filled with filtered water. we love the bold strength setting that gives a full bodied cup of coffee all in all a good coffee maker

This coffee maker is the best one I have ever purchased,so easy to handle and set automatically and the coffee is HOT.Having hot coffe is an absolute must for me. I have purchased many many coffee makers and this one is wonderful. Thank you Kitchenaid.

I love the red color, but wish they had stuck to just the stainless front piece and red. If I want a red coffee pot, I want a red coffee pot. We shall see if this lasts better than their refrigerator and microwave oven have performed for me. Quite a price difference, of course.

We have had it for a month now and are 100% pleased with the features. Coffee every day is off the auto preset and is always ready. We changed the warmer to hot and changed it to on four 3 hours. So many features that adjust the maker to your needs. Water filter improved coffee taste. Features are easy to program, we were up and running in about 5 minutes. We ordered the red and it looks great in our kitchen with its modern styling. 1 t0 4 cup feature with capacity to 14 cups is a plus.

Coffee tastes awful

This was a freebee to replace a ProLine that stopped working. The coffee tastes bitter. I suspect its because the heating element does not get hot enough. It's sitting on my counter collecting dust. I did the peruse routine and stuck with it for 3 weeks. Not good!
Cons: coffee tastes nasty.

This makes the best coffee. I like that it makes 14 cups instead of 12. The coffee stays hot and the carafe is designed so that it doesn't spill when you pour the coffee. I am very pleased with this appliance.
