We drink a lot of coffee about 2 pot's a day . We have gone through about 5 or 6 coffee maker's over the year's. we love this one very muck and hope it will last a long time

I love the look of the coffee maker because it is red and matches my other appliances. However, from time to time it leaks water underneath - sometimes just a little and sometimes alot. And sometimes not at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After extensive review, I found this coffee maker to be the best. I can make enough cups of coffee when guests are here. The water reservoir can be removed for filling if that works better for you. Choice of regular or bold setting makes up for the lack of a conical filter (it's flat, but still makes rich tasting coffee).
Pros: Convenient Features, Easy To Clean
Cons: flat filter when cone shape makes better coffee

14 Cups of Coffee!

I drink coffee into the late mornings and some evenings on game nights. Having been spoiled by a 14 cup coffee maker of another brand, I purchased this brand. I LOVE the fact that having the 14 cups is at your finger tips and I don't have to make more than one pot to get through the morning, unless we have guest.
This keeps the coffee hotter than any other coffee maker I have ever purchased previously. The features are easy to set and instructions are great. The only problem I have had is that the first coffee maker I purchased the basket kept popping open while brewing which was due to the boiling pressure of the water. I did return the pot and the replacement was received within a short time. I haven't had any problems with this one and plan on keeping this until the coffee maker quits.
The colors are better to select from and have colors to match the kitchens, compared to the other brands of the basic colors of all small appliances.
I do recommend this coffee maker and i hope your as happy as i have been with this brand.

I called KitchenAid Customer Service to see if I could send in my Pro Line Series Coffee Maker for repair, but found out that it could not be repaired. This is the best coffee maker I have ever owned! The customer service representative offered me a credit to purchase the new coffee maker and I chose the KitchenAid 14 Cup Class Carafe Maker and love it! I am more impressed with the superior level of customer service I received. I recently also purchased a new KitchenAid Dishwasher!

This coffee maker produces the best coffee consistently that we have ever had. For nine cups of water and nine spoons of fresh ground coffee it tastes the same every morning. Doesn't seem to matter what brand coffee.This is our second Kitchenaid 14 cup glass carafe coffee maker and both were excellent. Most of our kitchen appliances are Kitchenaid. Our mixer is almost 50 years old and still gets used almost every day with both of us in the kitchen.
