We wanted a different color for our kitchen other than silver. But not too bright, so we choose the espesso brown color. It is gorgeous! Brews coffe quickly and it is a pretty color!(Did i mention that?!) It is a bit loud brewing as our last one was silient, but that does not effect the beauty and design of this maker!!!

This is the second KitchenAid 14 cup glass carafe coffee maker I have had. It makes a good cup of coffee and is easy to use. I really like the removable water container it reduces the mess and spills.
The color is also a plus.
