Stylish, sleek, and wonderful

I bought this coffee maker late in 2014, and I love it. We've had Krups, Melitta, and Cuisinart machines in the past, and bought our first KitchenAid coffeemaker a few years ago. That one made great coffee but the reservoir design wasn't great, so we decided to go with KitchenAid one more time and so glad we did. Most importantly, the coffee is great. We love the warmer, the easy setup, and that you can select bold to get stronger coffee. The coffee brown color works great in our kitchen and the styling is very sleek and modern. The easy-to-remove reservoir is one of my favorite features. Another plus is that the carafe pours without dripping (strangely, many coffeemakers seem to overlook this detail). I've already recommended it, and I can say that we're very pleased with our purchase - would do it again in a heartbeat.

I like the unit on the most part. There were a couple mornings that apparently I put something together wrong and got leaked water all over my counter.

Read before buying

I like the overall product, however, there are two things I dislike about this coffee maker. First, it is ridiculously hard to program and if you do figure it out, don't change anything because it is just as hard the next time around to reprogram it! The worse part of this coffee make is the carafe. The glue that holds the plastic pour spout/handle on to the glass carafe does not hold and then when you go to pour your coffee, make sure to do it over the sink as it leaks all over the place and you have a mess!!! Just know ahead of time that you will be buying replacement carafes and if that's not a big deal and you don't rely on programming it, which is not important to me,this is an

VERY happy with it. I absolutely love the fact that it is 14 cups!! Easy to pull out the reservoir to refill with water and the coffee grounds section is also easily reached. My previous coffee maker (named brand) "leaked" whenever I would pour a cup. Don't have that problem anymore. My husband bought one for his work after our home purchase.
