I have searched, read reviews, ask questions..all trying to find the best coffee pot....I found it!! This 14 cup coffee maker by KitchenAid is perfect! It has all the settings you could ask for, it's easy to clean (even has a "clean" notice when it's time) Above all, it makes the best possible cup of coffee!! There is a choice between bold and regular, and by afternoon, I need BOLD. I would recommend this coffee pot to anyone who is a serious coffee lover...like we are!! Thank you, KitchenAid for another great appliance!

My husband and I love this coffee maker. Not only does it make delicious coffee, but lots of it. It's 14 cup capacity is the biggest I've seen on a home coffee maker. The best part is that every bit of it can be cleaned. The removeable water holder provides a way to finally be able to clean the inside. I bought it in red and it looks great in my kitchen that is decorated with touches of red around the room. It is easy to use and has many features such as a mode to brew coffee from mild to bold. I would buy this again and would give it as a gift. Some of the other reviews I read before buying this complained about the water holder as being flimsy. However, I don't agree at all. It is a solid machine.

Great features, bad design

For the 2nd time, our coffee maker has the display that goes out after it makes coffee. When the unit cools down, the display comes back. When it is starting to go out, it looks like a DISCO light, digits going off and on. I will call tomorrow for a 3rd replacment, but, I am afraid that these have a design flaw that causes steam to enter the clock module. While I did not mind spending extra for a better quality unit, and, this thing makes GREAT coffee, I still need the clock to work. Please fix this problem, or remove it from the market.
