The cofee maker is a nice addition to my kitchen and is used daily. The plastic handle is flimsy when the reservoir is filled to max, it comes out of joint if not balanced evenly. I make Tea in the same carafe and filter basket. There are times when I just want hot water for cocoa for a group and this makes the temp just right. I would recommend this to my friends.

Purchased 5 months ago. Now the basket has begun popping open while brewing, leaving an unacceptable mess of coffee and coffee grounds all over the counter and floor. I'm not the first to report this problem, so I guess I'm lucky it hasn't happened before.

While the coffee brews perfectly, the carafe's pouring lip is terrible. No matter how carefully the coffee is poured it spills all over the place. Don't you have a carafe with a rounded lip rather than one that is squared-off?

After years of dull flat black or cheap looking white coffee makers, a quality shiny brown has arrived! This coffee maker is attractive while at the same time, making excellent coffee. Love the features that can be programmed, like bold and time for keeping warm, the push button to open the grounds tray, the signal to tell me coffee's brewed! Have to say KitchenAid has outstanding quality appliances (I have quite a few) and offers an array of color and design that simply hasn't been beat by other makers (low end and high end). My new shiny brown coffee maker brews a great cup of joe! Thanks KitchenAid for always remembering that we want taste and design in our kitchens.

This is the best Coffee Maker I've ever had. I love the flip out and the and the water holder is super. It is so easy to operate. Thank you, Kitchen Aid. I purchased this at Kohl's and when I got home and unpacked it, there was no filter to put in the strainer in the water. Kohl's said that I would have to write you. I did, and you sent the strainer that holds the filter.
