This is the best coffee maker ever. You always get a great cup of hot coffee. We wake up to the aroma of coffee no need for an alarm clock. The mixer is also the best. This summer also purchased the food processor. And canning food from our garden with the processor. Chopping vegetables for chow-chow was a breeze. And it was so quite that I could hold conversation with people and did not have to stop. Love all of your products.

I really love the 14 cup capacity, we have 4 family members that drink coffee and before owning this machine we would always run out of coffee in the morning. My only complain is that the coffee filters could be taller, making a strong flavor requires more coffee but the basket only holds so much coffee. We have had a few mistakes and ended up with overflow and a big mess!

Cons: coffee filters need to be bigger!

This is a third Ketchen Aid coffee maker we have purchased over the last dozen years or so. We have always liked Kirchen Aid appliances; however, the design and quality of this coffee maker is noticeable inferior to previous models. On this model, the coffee filter basket is contained in a little compartment that swings out on a spring when you press a button. I returned the first model of this type that I purchased a few weeks ago because the basket compartment would pop open during the coffee-making process which caused coffee grounds and coffee to spill out everywhere. What a mess! I exchanged that unit for another, and that has not happened with the current unit, but this model makes a lot of noise during use. It does not appear to have the quality of design or materials of previous models we have had. I. Have purchased other coffee makers in red, as well as other Kitchen Aid appliances in red, but this one has very little red on it compared to previous models. It's black and silver with a red top. For the $$, I would not buy another Kitchen Aid.

i love the shut off feature and the amount of cups it makes and the fact the wateer tank removes for easy filling and the2 different baskets

We originally purchased the KCM1202 model which we disliked but Kitchenaid kindly replaced it with this one. We are MORE than happy with it & the great customer service. It looks as great as it works! Spend a little more & you will be as pleased as we are. Thanks again for a great product.

We like the fact that it is easy to use and the setting are easy to program. We love how fast the brewing process is and the little beep, beeps when it is done. It looks great and have had several comments about how attractive the coffee maker is. Of course, the brew select feature and the delayed start are two of the reasons we like it so much. We would recommend it to all of our friends.

This 14 cup coffee maker from KitchenAid has worked better than two previous 14 cup coffee makers we purchased from KitchenAid. Programming each setting has been a challenge, expecially after unplugging the product when leaving for a prolonged time or after a power outage. I was happy to discover that with this new model it remembers your previous settings and the only setting you need to redo after loss of power is to set the time. This model also brews a better cup of coffee and has a setting to keep the coffee very hot.
I would recommend this product over any other coffee maker brand available for retail.
