Fine dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the 800 series dryer when we replaced our 12 year old Axis+ washer and dryer. We think the 800 series dryer is much better than our old one. Our only complaint is the amount of heat dumped into our house by the dryer on hot days (we do not have air conditioning)

It is a quality machine, holds plenty of items, gives the user many choices, great digital messaging, very quiet. The lack of an outside vent was perfect for my laundry room remodel. I purchased the pull out shelf for my stacking set and love it as well.

Minor snags, otherwise super happy with this dryer

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This dryer is compact-sized but still can fit a full load from our standard-sized washer. When stuffed full it might take a little bit of extra tumbling to get as dry as we would like it/are used to - but even after the one cycle it is sufficiently dry. The dryer is extremely quiet which is so appreciated after our previous one that sounded more like an airplane. Tons of features - Extra Dryness +1/2/3 helps combat the earlier issue (though does add time), Wrinkle Block gives a quick tumble every 60/90 minutes post cycle to help keep stuff unwrinkled, multiple modes with varying customization, etc. Happy with all of that. Lack of venting required is a win. One snag that troubled us until recently - you need to press the "Start Cycle" touch-pad buttons for about one second. If you press it much shorter or longer than that, the dryer will start the cycle about 50% of the time. If you press the button for one second, it works 100% of the time. Odd, but easy to fix and not a showstopper. (And the warranty service coordinated/paid through Bosch to a local repair service to diagnose this issue that was stumping us was super easy/convenient to set-up.) Would recommend as a dryer overall - compact or standard-sized.

Great dryer

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this dryer 2 weeks ago. Condensation drying is taking getting used to but have figured out the best settings for the most part. It does take a fair bit longer but wash feels softer in general. I tend to hang dry a lot of my clothing so time is not a factor...you just need to plan ahead a bit. I love the small size as it gives me more space in the laundry room. I rated it lower in energy efficiency only because it does take longer to dry towels and other heavy clothing. Other items take an average amount of time to dry.
