Compact for my apartment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reliable and fits in the kitchen of my apartment, but wish it could be quieter, but that isn't easy to achieve in general probably. At least it's quieter than others on the market most likely
Works well, but the buttons are VERY finicky, as they must be pressed with just the right pressure for just the right length of time. Very annoying. Otherwise works as advertised.
This dryer is safe (no ducts/vents to clog with lint), gentle on clothes, requires no fabric softener, fast (you have to simply take the clothes out when they are done), and much cleaner for the environment. The folks who think it doesn't dry clothes are mistaking the way it feels when the clothes are sitting in the dryer. Clothes need to come out and fluff in the room air and then they feel perfectly dry.) also the lu t trap is super easy to clean. I found a YouTube video in it--just rinse with water!! I love this dryer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a new replacement for a 2017 version of a Bosch 800 series dryer that had digital control issues. (I am glad that I purchased an extended 5 year warranty). Bosch has made a few changes to the operational settings. I do not know if any more sttuctual changes were made. It works well.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Not very happy with this dryer. It is barely three years old and I've had it serviced twice already because it stops drying. It constantly collects water in the lower compartment (the little trap door in the lower left corner), which is frustrating enough because we have to dry it almost every time, and then it is unreliable - sometimes it will go a full cycle, sometimes it stubbornly refuses to do a cycle. I see that Bosch is going big on ventless dryers but I would beware before jumping in, we have our laundry in the basement and maybe there is more humidity there and we need a vented dryer - but now there is no Bosch option for this.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) These appliances both our 800 series washer and dryer are fantastic machines, compact design with great styling! Highly efficient and super quiet! Our only is with the lint filter design on the washing machine! Although we clean the filter and wash out the evaporator after each and every cycle, we still have problems with lint build up down and around the pump! We had to have it serviced dismantled and cleaned after only 18 months! This was an exspensive repair and disappointing!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have had difficulty with this dryer since I purchased it. The "DR" code continuously came on and the dryer stopped, and the clothes were still soaked. The issue was our water softener. The combination of the salt (by the way...use pure rock salt for your water softener as most brands contain a gummy material -- don't use the Costco brand for example) and the detergent left a residue on the clothes and sludge (lots of it over time) accumulated near the drainpipe. We turned off the water softener and do the following maintenance on the machine EACH time we use the machine: One: We permanently removed the trap door behind the condenser (that was difficult as your hands are working in such a small space -- use a small screwdriver with a hook to lift up the trapdoor at the same time you are pressing the hinges to release them). In that way we could access the drain pipe without having to remove the side panels of the dryer. Two: We remove the condenser from the unit and mop out the residual water and any residue with a clean towel. Three: We have the drainpipe draining into a bucket by the side of the machine. I keep the clean cloth inside the machine and blow on the end the hose to ensure that there is not any blockage. I hear the water bubbling out of the pipe, inside the dryer and more water is soaked into the towel. We have been successful in finally getting the dryer to work but it is an exercise that I have to perform after every dry cycle to ensure the dryer works. I give the machine a 3-star rating because, although the machine now dries well, it is a poor design in that the drain can be so easily clogged. The 1st picture shows the trapdoor partially lifted out of the machine. The 2nd picture shows the area with the trapdoor removed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer takes much too long for clothes to dry. The inside near the condenser is always wet after each load. I must wipe this up or it drips out. Am very unhappy with this dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
