German Engineering Truely at its best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dryer to match my 800 series Bosch Washer. It is a great dryer. Do keep in mind it is a ventless unit, they do take some getting use to its not like your mothers throw em in turn the knob and hit start kinda dryer--it is a different breed. Be sure to read the owners manual well because it will give you tips on how to get the best performance from your dryer. Clothes will not come out radiating heat and full of static as with a vented dryer. This dryer makes my clothes feel softer in my opinion. Be sure not to overload the dryer or your clothes will get wrinkled. When you first get the dryer you may be disappointed because even on "cotton extra dry" items will feel steamy when the cycle is done. The key is once you take clothes out of the dryer if you shake them out, once they hit the room temperature air they feel perfectly dry and wrinkle free. Again once you figure out what settings/options work best for you it will quickly become second nature. Its just where the dryer is ventless, but in my opinion ventless is better because it is more energy efficient. The lint filter is extremely easy to clean and the condenser is easy to access. Overall I love my Bosch 800 series washer and dryer. They are well made German appliances.

Best Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the pair a month ago, and I really really like this dryer. I love that it uses no vent, so no hazardous lint buildup in the vent. It does, however, when lint reaches the condenser emit a slightly burned smell, so you got to keep the lint trap and the condensation path clean, lest your clothes smell like a campfire.

Great performance in small places

Excellent Washer

Perfect size

Purchased the dryer three weeks ago and could not be more pleased. It is incredibly robust for it's size. It looks beautiful and operates flawlessly. I mostly use the cotton dry setting and while it initially says it will take nearly two hours the auto sensing usually turns the machine off in about an hour. The clothes are perfectly dry. It always seeems to sync up just right with the timing of the matching washer.

No more fluff on roof!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was determined to rid myself of vented dryers as I was so tired of cleaning the mess created by puffballs escaping the vent and making a mess on my roof. My dryer is upstairs and with only two people in house I wanted compact machines. I feel more in control of the drying process. It is longer but I find with the better dryness of fabric from my Bosch washer that the difference is acceptable. My location is in a bathroom with a countertop and clothes rod above. It works well for removing easy dry items to hang and dry from the heat exchanged into the room. The room gets warm, great for now, but in summer I expect I'll need to close the room off, open the window, and turn on the ceiling fan. The quick dry works well!

Better Than My Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bosch dryer takes some getting used to, in terms of how to get your clothes dry. The premise with this model, that you have to accept, is that your clothes come out damp dry. There can be an advantage to this if you have time and space to allow the clothes to air dry on your bed to completion. But all of this takes much longer than my Sears Kenmore model.
