Quiet, effective drying with options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally got my compact 1st floor laundry set installed last Friday. I have since run 6 loads without taking the stairs to the basement. These were a close fit in my small closet but once the plumber and electrician were done, I was in business. I read the manual before starting and am glad I did. Lots of options so I can tailor to what I wash. Quiet except when water is flowing in, holds more than expected, and got all the spills and spots out. So far so good. Some have mentioned drying problems, but I suspect they did not read the manual. It works well if you use the right options.

Should have researched this dryer more. High maintenance. Air vent being in front makes the room very hot. Has lots of program selections which is nice, but sometimes it doesn't always get items completely dry. When washing dress pants they dry damp which is not what I want.It's nice that it's compact.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is great dryer for my small condo which doesn't have any outside exhaust. I like my 800 series of washer and dryer very much. BUT the inside of dryer door around the edges are sharp and rough and I didn't know it . When I touched the door around 2 months ago a splinter went to my skin and I am suffering from it since then. For a high quality product like this set they should do better job before they send the item to their customers or to the market ( failed inspection). I am disappointed about it and after seeing my Dr. and she tried to remove the splinter , it is still in there and I have to see a surgeon to do XRay and remove it ( hopefully without complication). This problem caused serious problem for me up to now and I hope to have happy ending and not damage my nerve:( Please fix this for future customers.

Very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The drier is very quite for a small apartment. It warms up the room but we take advantage of it drying clothes on the top. It takes some time to get used to the controls and use them efficiently.

Speedy drying

I have owned 2 other condenser dryers over the years, but the Bosch has proven to be the best so far. Unlike some reviews I have seen, this dryer is very fast and is also very quiet.

Granted, it's small... and a condensation dryer (small for a condo), but we should have been warned. Dread our electric bill. I guess there's not much choice, given no outside venting. But people should be alerted to this. 1:40... and still going on a regular load of cotton clothes.
