Takes a long time to dry clothing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife used our new 800 series Bosch Dryer today for the first time. Love the size of the unit, how well built that it is, but it seems to take forever to dry the clothes. Even though we put the drying level to high, the clothes were still too damp, and we had to finish them up on timed dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love it so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed yesterday but so far it is great. Lots of pre-programmed cycles for various fabrics and loads, but also optional changes. My first load of towels was not dry enough but I increased the dry level to 3 to take care of that so I am happy!

Best Clothes Dryer Available

I reviewed all major brands of dryers and settled on the Bosch Condenser dryer. The deciding factors were many. It was designed to eliminate the need for a discharge hot air vent that I regarded as a definite plus. The high quality of construction and legendary Bosch reliability could not be excelled. The designers
and engineers planned every detail to perfection. It is very quiet in operation and highly energy efficient. I m very pleased with the performance of the dryer for a variety of materials I have dried in the machine. I know I can count on this dryer to last many more years than dryers made by competitor and mentioned this to the sales person who confirmed from experience that I was right in that assessment. If you want the best laundry appliances for your home, then buy Bosch and you will not be disappointed. They are the Mercedes of home appliances.

THE BEST!!!

It's simple to use and the Bosch features for different types of drying are excellent and work well. The ventless feature dries the clothes perfectly. No complaints.

Great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this dryer along with the matching washer. Since its a condensation dryer it does not need the air discharge to the outside only a drain hose to the drain. Operation is also new to us. It takes longer to dry that a regular dryer and the heat generated when drying the clothes warms up the room. Performance is very good.

Condensation Dryer is not your ordinary dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When in the market for a compact washer/dryer, I was introduced to condensation dryers during my web searches. I read mixed reviews, mostly negative. After having used mine for a few weeks dnow, I have to say that it does take some getting used to, but once I did, I understand that the condensation type dryer is different from the dryers I had used in the past. I experimented with the variety of settings this Bosch 800 series offers, and found the combination I liked for the various types of items being laundered. There are a lot of settings, in addition to settings that let you extend the dry time and how dry you want your clothes. The Bosch dryer senses, at various intervals, how dry your clothes are getting so what looks like starts out to be a 2 hour dry cycle actually winds up being much less, saving energy in the long run. The dryer does not "bake" my clothes like my gas dryer did.Yes, the clothes may feel slightly "damp" when first removed, but after a shake to fold, I find that they really are dry. The capacity of the dryer is fine for my small family of three; if you have a family of four or more, this is not the product for you. Overall quality build is good. Dryer is quiet and just love it! One other thing to mention is that it will warm up the surroundings a bit due to it being a "ductless" dryer that vents to the back of the machine. Honestly, I have no issues with this, but I live in a temperate climate. Kudos to Bosch for their sound engineering and quality assurance standards!

Just got this dryer and still trying to figure out how to get the clothes completely dry. Yes, I've read the manual. I'm not giving up on it, just can't give it 5 stars yet.
