Very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The drier is very quite for a small apartment. It warms up the room but we take advantage of it drying clothes on the top. It takes some time to get used to the controls and use them efficiently.

Excellent compact unit, condensate hose too short

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Dryer works exactly as expected. It is quiet and has numerous control options to allow you to select the right type of cycle. As anticipated, articles come out feeling cooler than a traditional dryer and hence can seem damp. This is especially true for a large cotton load, like large bath robes. Note that the condensate drain hose may be too short for many installations. Our washer & dryer are separated by a small laundry sink. This means the dryer is further from the drain standpipe than it would be if the 2 units were stacked. You may need to do additional plumbing to use this dryer.

Great ventless dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this with the 800 series washer. The washer has been issue-laden, but the dryer has been great. One of the better ventless ones on the market. My only complaint is the dry time. It take about 2 hours for a larger load to get dry. Most of the built-in cycles leave the clothes still damp, and I need to do two cycles. But overall, clothes come out warm, feeling, and smelling great.

Surprisingly effective, quiet.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We purchased this dryer, along with the stacking kit and washer. I was a little concerned about a dryer that didn't have direct-vent because of reviews I'd read on other dryers that don't vent out the air. This dryer was an excellent purchase decision. It's quiet, has every option we could ever imagine, and gives excellent results. The laundry closet heats up a little, but that's more than offset by the fact that we're not sucking out our AC or Heat with a direct vent machine. The settings are simple to maneuver and the drying times, although seem long when you initially put in your clothes, adjusts as they dry. It's almost as though the dryer surprises itself! The biggest item we dried, a down comforter, initially said it would take 3 hours to dry. I timed it though, and as it dried, the dryer took off time automatically. It finished in just 2 hours. It would take that long in any direct vent dry, so I'm more than happy with the results. The anti-wrinkle feature is great - you don't have to rush to take your laundry from the dryer if you set it on anti-wrinkle as it tumbles the clothes after they are dried. There's something really neat about this dryer. It doesn't over-dry clothes. 'Cotton Normal,' when done, seems a little damp. The magic happens when you take the cloths out, shake them once or twice, and that slightly damp feeling vanishes. The benefit is that you don't get your clothes baked, they don't wrinkle, and they dry as soon as they hit the air. If you like toasted clothing, the dryer does have an 'extra dry' setting, and does offer many other options for drying. Most full loads of laundry take less than an hour to dry. This is partly due to the excellent spin the washer gives, but also how well the dryer functions. A huge bonus to us was that our laundry closet only has one outlet, so it's great that the washer plugs into the dryer! The lint catcher in the dryer is also very effective, and very easy to clean. We're very happy with the dryer, its multiple options, and its overall effectiveness. Bosch really delivered everything we needed on this one!

Excellent Washer

Very Pleasant Surprise!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to buy the compact dryer due to space limitations and was worried that the ventless condenser dryer would be slow and less than satisfactory ( had previously owned a high-end combo washer/dryer in Europe with ventless dryer). Much to my surprise, it is very comparable to a good vented dryer and works wonderfully.

High-tech Laundry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A really efficient dryer! We were a bit hesitant about buying a non-vented, condensation dryer; but, it was a wise decision. This unit handles large loads very well. Has sooo many settings for a wide variety of loads and fabrics! The drain hose effectively extracts humidity right into the same drain used by the washer. Nothing to manually drain from dryer after a load is finished! It is so incredibly quiet, you have to double check if it's on.... a terrific laundry pair!
