When we were remodeling our home, I was excited to get all new stainless appliances. I loved the clean steel because it doesn't show fingerprints as traditional stainless does. happy with the GE microwave and stove we purchased, but not this fridge. I agree with another review left regarding the shelves. Unlike most refrigerators that have metal shelves, this one has metal on the to two but the crispers and bottom shelf, are made of plastic guides. I have never had a refrigerator break a shelf until now. I have had to replace three of the guides for the crisper and shelves in two years. They just don't hold up. My mother is needing a new refrigerator and I could not recommend this one.

I bought this new in 2011 and it was a great deal, I love the stay-clean steel no fingerprints! I have to have a side-by-side, and this was my first with an in-door water/ice dispenser which is wonderful. I love this refrigerator! It is roomy, easy to clean, and very light inside, plus the shelves are easy to move & configure. I'm glad I purchased it!

Great product for the price you get a lot of features vs the other compotators. Easy to use features and plenty of room for everything a family needs.

Don't waste your time buying any GE Side-by-Side fridge. This model is by for the worst GE ever made. You will have trouble with the ice maker a year later. You will need to keep a warranty on the fridge just because the ice maker is junk. GE should have done a recall on this model. Will never buy GE again.
Highly Disappoint.

Ice maker stopped working

Ice maker stopped working after less than a year. Where can I purchase a replacement.
