It Works

My wife and I are not camera experts. However, we have taken this camera to the Colorado River Jet Skiing, our backyard pool and to the San Diego Zoo and Wild Aminal park. It has been dropped, gotten wet and had grandkids fiddle with it. This is one tough, versatile camera. We could not be happier. I would recomment this camera to anyone that needs a tough, versatile camera. And, on top of all that, we have been very happy with the results in pictures. We hit the jackpot finding this model.
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Simple controls/menu, Solid Operation, easy to use
Cons: we do not have anything negative to say

wonderful camera for a beginner

This was my first time getting an SLR and it easy to use
Pros: good battery life, quiet, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Slow Start-up time

Great starter SLR camera

I wanted to start with a SLR Camera that was easy to use.
So I could switch from Auto functions to Manuel .
I would recommend this camera to anyone that is looking to start using a bigger camera and stop using point and shoot

OK SO i HAD BOUGHT THIS AS A REPLACEMENT FOR MY OLD CAMERA AND OH MY ITS AWSOME! I have been using it and i mean the quality is just amazing! the features theres tons and it very lightweight You should definantly take a look at it

has great features .TAKES high res pics .. Some reviews said about it lacking live view but this camera has live view read manual to access this feature

Wonderful Camera

I have had my camera for about 8 months and I have only found one problem and maybe it's something I am doing. I take portraits mostly and have noticed when shooting alot of pictures fast, my Canon will say "busy" and I have to wait several seconds until I am able to take more photos. This is very inconvenient. When I am shooting children, especially, my equipment needs to be fast. Other than this, I love my Canon Xsi. When I first bought it, I was overwhelmed with the features and controls but the more I have used it, the more I have found out it is wonderful. Great for your beginner and intermediate photographers.
