very hard to upload photos

I can't get my photos from the camera to the computer without lots of work. Even the online help says you first have to change the auto-off feature and then use not only the USB cord, but also a separate power cord for your camera. Then the Canon software is clunky and hard to use. I got this camera as a gift, and if I could have chosen on my own, I would not have chosen something so poorly designed. It is also very hard to find what you need among all the screens on the camera.
Pros: Quick Start-up time
Cons: Difficult to use, Complicated controls/menu
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been occasionally using my camera for two and a half years. For the last half year I've been having problems with the shutter and also connection problems between the lenses and the camera.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this camera back in may. I'm only a teenager and this is THE perfect camera for a student. Yearbook, band, candid shots, and personal shots, this camera is excellent. I've used a 5d Mk II and there's nothing like it. But the xsi is sure to be a winner for begginers. I also love nature photos and this camera (on MF) is great. Not too crazy about the auto settings, but the creative settings are fabulous. I also love that it has live view, something most low-end dslr's don't have.
Pros: great image quality
Cons: weird auto modes
I would recommend this to a friend!
