The BEST bang for your buck HDTV anywhere!

Simply amazing, that's all I have to say about this TV! Samsung has outdone themselves this time, everything about this TV is fantastic. I have been researching television for almost a year now and this TV looks just as good if not better than any 58+ inch plasma or LCD on the market today including the Panasonic Viera TH-58PZ800U 58-Inch which is at the top tier in picture quality respectively but the Panny still looses in the size and price category compared to this massive Sammy. Super deep blacks, bright whites, and extremely accurate color that rivals (in my opinion surpasses) that of its plasma and LCD competitors respectively. The picture quality is stunning and I'm just floored every time I turn the set on. The LED light source is obviously the reason why this set looks as good as it does, most people at first didn't know that this was a DLP set and after I showed them were beside themselves. When watching HDTV it was outstanding especially when I watch sports such as NBA basketball, MLB baseball, or WWE Wresting the picture is just pure pop. You can see the drops of sweat falling off the player's faces as well as being able to read all of the little logos and lettering on their jerseys. I was never really able to do that with my parents 50 inch Panasonic plasma, attention to detail was surely evident with the Samsung and at this size it baffles my mind how the TV does it so well. Speaking of size, this set is a monster and is perfect for anyone who has their sitting area anywhere between 12-15 feet from the TV. My couches are arranged in that formation now and it's just right, like being in a movie theater every time I turn the set on. But where this HDTV shines is watching HD-DVD or Blu-ray, the picture is just striking, I mean it's so clear and clean it's funny to see how good a TV can be if you have a quality one such as this. I saw Slumdog Millionaire in the theater back in January so it was pretty fresh in my mind how it looked on the big screen, I just bought the movie the other day on Blu-ray and watched it for a few mins and I have to say that the quality was BETTER than being in the theater. I popped in other titles such as Transformers, Iron Man, Shrek the Third, Beowulf, The Simpsons Movie, and the Spiderman Trilogy to see some other reference material. All of these movies looked jaw dropping; I mean inky and deep blacks, bright and crisp whites, and vibrant and lush colors. The color gamut is very well executed on this set and with more and more usage it has been even more evident. I highly recommend this TV and I'm sure if you have the space in your house you will be ecstatic with this purchase, five stars all the way!

I recently upgraded from your 61 inch DLP to the 67A750. This LED represents a huge improvement in picture quality; particularly while viewing scenes that were shot where the ambient lighting was dark. I could not be more pleased with my investment.

I have had this TV for about a year. Its an excellent TV. Buy it you can' t go wrong. It even has good sound. Much better than their Plasma which I had the HPS5054 & hpss5053.
IT IS THE BEST COMPUTER MONITOR YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE. I USE A WIRELESS KEYBOARD AND MOUSE AND CONNECT THE VGA. I COULD USE THE HDMI BUT MY LAPTOP IS NOT THAT. IF YOU CAN FIND ONE OF THESE LYING AROUND GET ONE IT IS FAR SUPERIOR TO A PLASMA OR LCD.

Great Purchase, no doubt

After having the TV for a three months, all I can say is that the quality of the image combined with the screen size and price make an unbeatable combination. The detail and vibrant colors are beyond what ever one would expect from a projection TV. People that come to my house confuse it with some sort of large plasma. I have to tell them it is a projection TV. The general response is amazement.
Unfortunately the market has not followed DLP technology. If you want a large screen at a reasonable cost, even today in 2009, this DLP LED combination is a great choice. If Samsung still made them I would still buy them.
The only drawbacks I see are the quality of the speakers and that some functions are somewhat clumsy to access through the software (such as PIP that requires four steps), although this can be overcome by an intelligent Universal Remote with the capability of chaining or scripting multiple steps to combine them in a single command. However, all in all, the drawbacks are almost non important within all the great things offered by this magnificent product.
In short, definitely this was a great choice.

Color distortion on 3D playback. Only one antenna input. Not enough HDMI inputs(3). No front inputs.
