67 inches of Samsung perfection!

I must say first, I did my fair share of comparing televisions including that of LCD's and Plasma's. I came real close to buying one of Samsung's LCD's, as we have a 40" in our master bedroom already, and it has been amazing! But, this TV purchase was for our Home Theatre, and size was the most important issue, as we needed at least 60" if not larger. With technology constantly changing for the better, and becoming more price competitive by the day, once I saw the Samsung HL67A750 and the picture quality right next to a popular name brand LCD, I was blown away! The next issue of concern with buying another DLP, as I had an older model Samsung that uses a bulb for the light source, and would eventually need replacing, I wanted a TV that I didnt have to worry about replacing the bulb every 5000 hours or so (even though I had watched my old Samsung DLP for atleast that long without any problems). So when I read about the LED light source, and it's estimated life of 20 years approximately (based on an average of 8 hours a day of use), I was sold! The picture is astounding in 1080p, and with Blu Ray disk, there is no comparison I know of that matches this TV for the price! It has all the inputs and outputs you need including 3 HDMI inputs! The remote is very user friendly, as is the users manual. I didnt even need the users manual it was so easy! Adjusting the picture is a breeze, and even the most technology challenged user will have no problem. The LED backlight truly is much brighter than my previous DLP, and the color and contrast is very natural and realistic. It's like looking through a 67" window. Awesome Television, and I wouldnt wait to buy one either, as I hear DLP's may be eventually going away. Go buy this DLP, as you wont be disappointed!!! Best TV I've ever had hands down!!!

We have now had our 67" DLP Series 7 for six weeks. We have owned a Samsung 43" DLP for over two years, and love it. When we moved recently, we decided to set up a full surround sound viewing room in a larger room of the new home. The principal seating for viewing is about 12 feet from the screen. The screen also had to be visible from an adjoining eating area, which is about 25 feet away. After reviewing the specifications for available screens in the 50 plus range, we decided to go with the Samsung, and have been extremely pleased with it. We now have a Samsung with the new LED technology, which will end any cost concerns about having to change the light projector bulb (although we still haven't had to replace the bulb unit in the 43" set after two years!). The contrast is great and provides incredible viewing--especially on movies from our Blu-Ray--it really provides a "theatre" experience. The exterior of the TV is very tasteful, and a perfect match for the Polk free-standing speakers on our surround system. Even though eating area is on about a 35 to 40 degree angle, at a distance, we can easily view the screen from the table. In a world where all remote controls are not created equally, the Samsung's is at the top. It is very simple to operate--especially the menu and source features. I must admit that I am partial to Samsung, having had my belief in the quality of the product confirmed by our previous purchase--but if you making this kind of decision, you want to do it with confidence. If you are looking for a quality product, plus getting a tremendous value, you can't go wrong with this widescreen.

If you have the room go for it. 67" screen is amazing. The picture quality is second to none. I will put this DLP side by side any other LCD or Plasma displays and you will see the quality of a DLP picture. Once you fine tune the colors, contrast, etc... to your rooms ambient light the LED's will make this DLP produce oustanding HD picture quality. This TV is a must for anyone watching HD movies with a audiophile sound system. The movies jump at you. You will not be disapointed This DLP shines...Great job Ssamsung. Go for it....

I did lots of homework before spending my money on a HD TV and it has paid off big time with my Samsung LED DLP.
The picture is fantastic and we have it in a large room,I was going to get the 61" but glad I got the 67". With the DLP you get a very big screen for a lot less money than a plasma or LCD and a picture that is just as good. I have had the TV several months now and have had zero problems.

We Love This TV

I have enjoyed a large screen TV in our home since 1981 and we have anxiously awaited HDTV to be installed in our area. Shortly before Christmas, I learned we now had HDTV access. My wife and I talked that evening and we decided to upgrade to an HD TV for our combined Christmas gift for each other.
She asked if I knew which one I would want and I told her I had been watching the Samsung DLP TVs in the stores for years and I have always been impressed with how bright and sharp their picture was and that they rarely suffered from the store light reflection that many of the other brands experienced.
I was thinking of talking into a 60 inch TV, but when I mentioned it, she said, "Don't they come bigger that that?" How sweet is that? I purchased a 67 " Samsung DLP a couple days later and we have loved it ever since.

This was my first ever Samsung purchase and I couldn't be happier. I thought I would never be able to enjoy a large screen TV due to the overwhelmingly high prices that most companies offer. However when I researched this TV and saw the price I was skeptical at first but decided to go ahead and purchase it. This clearly was the best decision I have made in my life.
The picture is amazing, the objects look life size, and you actually feel like you are part of the movies or games your playing. The games from my xbox 360 just jump off my screen! The remote is very easy to use. The connections on the side are very well placed. It took me no more than 10 minutes to have everything set and working properly and that's including my surround sound system.
The Contrast ratio of 10,000 to 1 is plenty for this LED dlp driven set. You would not believe how bright this TV actually is. I predict right now that this TV from Samsung will out perform all other TV's in every category. So unless you are looking to hang a TV on a wall, this should be in your home. Take it from a guy with not a lot of money, you cannot beat this awesome TV at this price. If you're on the fence on what to buy... Samsung just made it that much easier. This TV will be all you need for a very long time.
No projector bulbs to change out.... LED technology really shines thru on this DLP. Images just pop right out. My next purchase from Samsung will be the 3D glasses as I have always wanted to try that but never had the right display to see it on. I will update this review after I purchase them.
Thank you Samsung from the bottom of my heart for making such a great television. My whole family couldn't be happy as it seems we are "at the movies" every night now. All I need now is the popcorn.

A lot of bang for the buck

This is our first Samsung television and we are very please with the why it has performed. Colors are bright, very sharp picture. This is the greatest for watching sports, Travel channel, all channels. You feel like you are there in the middle of the action. I have owned Samsung PC monitors and they have always been great, not sure why we waited so long to buy a Samsung DLP TV. It has been worth the wait, you won' t be sorry with the big screen.
