Phone has a hook to attach to a chain so no chance of dropping the phone.

Rugged Design for Outdoor Working Conditions

Perfect for my line of work. Don't have to worry about breaking or damaging the phone. Flip feature protects from pocket calling or accidentally activing internet while in my pocket

Bought this for my 80 year old dad who refuses to come into the 21st century ;)
It's bulky for a small flip as would be expected and the functions are limited and so is texting; but for those older or don't care about SMS and just want to take / make a call this is a great phone! Obviously the ruggedness of it is a big lure to for anyone who needs the extra protection... great value and he loves it!

not a manly man phone

This is my second Rugby. Loved the first one. When it broke I had to get a new phone so I got the Rugby 4. Impossible for a manly man to text. Buttons are way too sensitive. It's supposedly made rugged (I'm assuming for the working man's hands) but big hard working hands find it difficult to select buttons (especially in texts) and the button to choose letters is the same one to send so messages get sent before they are finished. I was OK with taping three times to get a C.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After a minor glitch I am very happy with my phone. It is of durable construction and should withstand my work conditions!
