this phone is perfect, especially if you're looking for a first timer non-smart cell phone user.
this phone is perfect to keep in touch with your kids, excellent design, nice color, resistant flip phone. l would definitely recommend this phone !!!

It's Rugged - built like a tank

I bought this so I could update my wife's phone by giving her the Rugby I had, they are great phones, almost indestructable. I work in a truck all day my phone has to take drops, let in freezer, wet and has to keep working, the Rugby does.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Basic Phone

I didn't want a Smart Phone, a basic is all I need. This phone fits the bill. I have had it for a week and LOVE it. Great design and gray features in including the WiFi. Battery life is very good, once fully charged. The rugged design is great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Basic Phone

Just like the Rugby 2 I had several years ago. I'm the GoPhone Plan with this phone, and I basically like the phone, but the negative is the features like Navigation you have to pay extra for it. I haven't tried the PTT yet. I wonder if it works for prepaid?

The battery lasts only 4 days on standby, 2-3 hrs talking, much worse than my 4years old phone. The speaker sounds very hard, sometimes cannot hear anything. I thought I got the best one, but completely am disappointed. It is very bulky.

Ok Basic Phone with Reservations

I got this phone 7-3-15 to replace flip phones I've owned since 1994 that have worn out. I've also owned a computer since 1994 so I am not a stranger to computer operations. My biggest complaint is like most, if not all cell phones today, they do not come with a "good" detailed USERS MANUAL. You are forced to download one off the internet and it's a typical example of most things today....The people who design things are not the ones that have to use them and the manual does not have answers to many issues encountered. After owning several different Basic flip phones for over 20 years, the Samsung Rugby 4 has been one of the worst to figure out how to use, mainly due to not having a detailed User Manual that covers a lot of "How To" usage questions. I've had to go on the internet in an effort to find the answers to specific questions on how to operate this phone. My major design complaint is the Navigation Keys. With large fingers, the Navigation bars are too close to other keys and difficult to avoid hitting one of the other keys....aggravating to say the least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NICE PHONE, BUT......

THE BATTERY LIFE ON THIS PHONE IS TERRIBLE. I HAVE HAD THIS ABOUT A MONTH AND DO NOTHING BUT CHARGE IT. I AM NOT A PHONE TALKER SO I ONLY USE IT WHEN I HAVE TO,. I CHARGE IT EVERY OTHER DAY WHETHER I USE IT OR NOT. THE OLD RUGBY WAS BETTER THAN THIS.
