I've only had this for 2 weeks. I like the steam feature more than I thought I would. It does a much better job than putting a damp rag in the dryer. I don't like the sounds that go with the buttons.

Duet Gas Dryer

We have had the dryer now for a couple of months. We really like it. It does a fantastic job of drying clothes. Replaced an older Kenmoore dryer with this one.

We upgraded to this dryer from a 13 year old run-of-the-mill electric dryer. I've never owned a gas dryer before, but I'm very impressed. The matching washer already gets our clothes nearly dry, but this gas dryer does great finishing the job. Our clothes come out with less static and feel fluffier. I also love the sound dampening feature. Buttons and zippers are much quieter than with my old dryer. The auto-drying time sensor gets confused sometimes, requiring slightly damp clothes to go for another few minutes. Overall we are very happy with our new gas dryer.

Great machine!

I purchased this dryer (and the washer) in August. There was a delay in shipping because the black color option was not readily available. I specifically wanted a stackable system. The Whirlpool is very easy to use and very quiet. I have used the "Steam Fresh" option a few times and love how it refreshes my clothes~particularly the winter coats that have been in the closet for several months! The dryer is quite efficient and the drying times are much less than my previous machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a week ago. Wife and daughter love it. Very easy to use. It was very easy to change door opening direction w/ supplied instructions.

Huge dryer that dries fast and quietly.

I really like this new dryer. It's really big and dries quickly. It has a lot of options which is helpful with different types of fabrics. I've been pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is. We have it on a pedestal which makes the height better and less stress on my back.
