Range Hood. Quality as expected. Missing Info

GE range hood - JV348LSS works fine up to expectations. Although not a complicated product. I do request more detailed electrical/electronic info (I am a retired electronics engineer) as to the variety and/or restrictions on what types of compact fluorescent light-bulbs (CFLs) that can be used with respect to the 2-speed switch. Schematically, it looks like you place a forward-diode in series when selecting the night-dimm mode. What does this mean to various/all CFLs ??
Otherwise, GE - JV348LSS range hood looks and performs fine so far. I look forward to another 20+ year life .?.

Sleek but underpowered

Since the GE retailer didn't have a sample product I had no clue about the performance of this product. After installation I realized that this product doesn't do its job very well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's an exhaust hood. I blows the smoke out. That is what it is supposed to do. The finish matches the other appliances.
