Falls Apart

The exhaust fan in this range hood broke up while running last night, 7 May 2020. The one of the blades on the plastic fan blade part broke off, causing the center mounting hole to snap. We shut the fan off immediately. The grease screens are kept clean and rotated. The exhaust fan is kept clean as well. This product was installed in our house when it was built in 2016. For only being used for four years, there is no reason the plastic blade should have broken apart while running!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stainless Stove Hood

I bought this hood online, so didn't see it until it was delivered. The underside of the hood is open and unattractive. They really should enclose it. The HI fan setting is very noisy, the LOW and MED are ok. It has a light with 2 settings which is nice. The top part looks good as it's stainless, so I'm OK with this product. But, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this to anyone because of the noisy fan and the underside being open. Otherwise, it does work ok. You can use it to vent to the outside or not.

Not strong enough

The vent hood simply is not strong enough to control smoke and odors, which gush out over/around the hood when simply sauteeing a single piece of fish or small skillet of veggies. I have had to change my cooking style and use a lid all the time. I need to switch out to a more powerful model. I am very disappointed the builder chose this hood.

The underside looks like it is missing panels. Its very noisy and dont notice any difference with it on or off.

It works OK. No cover under the hood.

This vent is installed to my new home I have just moved in. There is no cover under the vent. I wonder it is designed without cover or the cover is missing.
