3d feature

Everything is fine except the fact that the 3d feature won't work. I tried playing a 3d Blu Ray but it won't play. It keeps telling me to upgrade it to the most recent software for the firmware pack in order to use it. Even after upgrading it, the 3d feature does not work. Very disappointed in the 3d feature.

Very poor operation, locks up multiple times during disc play, locks up during Netflix play.

Purchased because of name recognition. I will not buy another Philips product. This unit locks up multiple times during disc playback, it locks up during Netflix playback, can not update software package in Player. I really am disappointed by this product but can't afford to purchase a replacement. Very dissapointed and the website dosn't offer much troublshooting help.

unfortunately this was supposed to be reconditioned I don't think anyone looked at it it als came without any documentation just a machine and remote control. Unfortunately it turned out to be defective.

No book and No directions and NO Sound!

Awful remote

I've had several Philips products before, all were fine, this one (Blu-ray player model BDP2105) is too, basically, EXCEPT ... its remote is the worst I've ever owned, of any type, for any device. It is cheap, illogically laid out, and the buttons barely work. Since, I suspect, there's not much difference among lower-end blu-ray players, I'd recommend you try something else.
Pros: player is fine
Cons: remote is terrible

It's simple to use, had my Pandora & Netflix accounts linked in a snap! Although I do not use it for 3D, it's Blu-Ray Playback is flawless!

This player exceeds expectations

Easy to set up. Well built: metal case, not plastic. Its browser streams HD content very well; there may be an occasional glitch, but I only experience one once--may have been the website, not the player. That's why I gave 4 stars for performance. Quality of sound output is good. I have no negatives. I suppose some may want a larger choice of web content providers to choose from, but, first, the providers you can access with the player have plenty of content, and second, you can play anything from the web: all you have to do is connect your computer to the television with a $10-$15 cable. This player has to be among the best in its price range.
I would recommend this to a friend!
