No steaming video. Life is not Good

I wanted to watch a live sporting event from the internet. The website would diplay on the screen however there was no video. I found out that the pre-installed media player on this 8 month old unit is now obsolete and there is no way to update it. Now instead of watching sportng events on 55 inch TV, I have to watch them on my 4 inch iPhone. Not quite the same.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome picture quality, great 3D smart TV

Picture quality is amazing, HD programming, movies and video games look over the top, w/o the blur. Apps come in handy, mostly for Netflix. I like that it came with 3D glasses so no more spending there. 4 HDMIs are a big plus to me (compared to other manufacturers) since I connect many gadgets. I love the sleekness look, very thin, no extra frame around the screen.
Very few downsides... Magic remote needs more accuracy. TV stand too big, barely fits on my cabinet/furniture; but I guess because of the TV size.
Overall, great all-in-one TV!

Looks absolutely stunning on my wall turned on or off. Wifi was easy to setup and the smart share option for streaming from computer to the TV is such a great feature. Picture quality is amazing and to get 6 pairs of passive 3d glasses included was a plus! Having a party this weekend and im sure everyone is gonna be envious of this TV.

Too Many Issues for the Price

The TV turns off and back on by itself, DLNA streaming with Nero MediaHome does not work for longer than an hour... most of the time I'm lucky to get thirty minutes at a time. Plex streaming does no better. It shows the video as loaded yet suddenly it'll just stop playing. Then I have to turn the TV off, back on, go back in and resume the movie where I left off. This happens at high quality video files and low quality, it doesn't matter. Netflix streaming freezes regularly and again requires me to turn off and back on. The remote will suddenly stop sending signal to the TV, unless it's the power button. Even then there's a huge delay between pressing the power button and the TV turning off... since the product is so new, it is not compatible with my cable box so if I want to turn the volume up or down, most of the time I have to turn the TV off, wait a few seconds, turn it back on and then change the volume. Yeah, lots of fun, right? For the price I paid for this TV, I expect it to operate flawlessly but it comes nowhere close. Way too many problems and I highly recommend an alternative.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this TV. I had a plasma for a long time and the picture quality on this TV is 100 times better. 3D feature looks great, web serch is responsive, the apps is also a good addition.
The remote takes a little getting use to. I wish the TV comes with a wireless key board for when serching the internet, an interactive tablet or an app that can be download on to your ipad.
Overall it is a great buy, exceeded my expectations.

Beautiful picture with HD programming. lots of features. 3D looks good when converting from 2D, haven't tried a true 3D movie yet. GREAT product.

The only suggestion might be for the remote control. The design is such that when you lay it on the table, it always is on its side therefore requiring it to be picked up before each use. The design is stylistic but flatter where it could be used without requiring to pick it up.
