Great TV - Great 3D

We have watched Tangled 3D and Avatar 3D. The 3D experience was spectacular. With a good HD signal, the 2D to 3D is very impressive. Our only complaint is the screen is glossy and requires positioning the TV so that light sources do not reflect off the screen and distract from the viewing experience. And with passive 3D you do not have to worry about getting stuck with expensive active shutter glasses that only work for one manufacturer's TV models. LG Passive 3D glasses are availble at very low prices (Just Google to find the best prices).
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Best TV I've owned

So, I have had this tv for the last month. It has really exceeded my expectations. Once I got it set up to my preference, the picture amazes. Very detailed and lifelike. The 3d performance is something I really didn't expect to care about. I was wrong. It is stellar. I especially appreciate that I don't get headaches while watching. Just feels very natural. 2 minor complaints so far: First, the Netflix app freezes the tv. No big deal as I just use the Netflix app on blu ray player. Second, the magic remote. It is very cool, but lacks universal control. In other words, it only controls the tv. Other than what I consider to be minor gripes, the tv is outstanding and an incredible value!

This TV, though 3D, is not just a 3D TV. You can watch regular 2D TV, 3D TV or the TV has the ability to convert 2D programming into 3D. The best 3D results come when watching 3D programming, but the 2D conversion is still a 3D experience. It also has wi-fi capability, which I imagine would allow you to watch netflix on the TV, but I can't say for sure because I do not have wi-fi on my computer. Also, the glasses do not require batteries. It is a great TV and everyone who has come over to watch it has been jealous and wants one of their own. The kids love to watch the Ocean documentary because it literally looks like the fish are swimming in the living room. They reach out and try to grab them. That excitement from them is the worth the purchase.

I recently replaced my 55lw5700 with this model and I could not be happier. The clarity, the designed, the features and price.
I absolutely love this TV!
I would recommend any who wants to share the 3D experience with their loved ones to get this TV.

Great TV

Great picture, great 3D (so far). Sound is good. Integrated well with my Sony Home Theatre and Sony Blu-Ray player. A few settings could be improved - would like to "disappear" unused imputs and would like the tags for inputs to stick the first or second time.

The design of this TV got my attention, but its performance has kept my attention. If you are going to mount this TV, be sure to buy the LG mount as it will provide you an excellent range of viewing options.

The picture is great. I had some people over this weekend and they told me that they have never seen such a clear picture. The 3D was really great. You felt like you were able to reach out and touch someone. Can't wait to start buying 3D DVD's to watch.

This is a great TV for use in all light levels, as it automatically adjusts to your room's lighting. Nice, crisp picture. Haven't used the 3D; not much broadcasts in 3D. Guess if you had some movies, it would work great. Easy to use for those of us who are technology-challenged! I would definitely buy again.
