Incredible space

it's a counter depth ref and has much more space than my prvious GE Profile counter depth ref, bottom freezer.

Awful!

My fridge is 4 years old we purchased from the builder when we moved into our new home. This product has ben awful along with my other GE appliances that have all broken several time. First it was the shelves broke, then water began leaking in the bottom ( got hat fixed) , the I began making a awful noise, right after the ice maker stopped working. The it stopped cooling two days later. I work for a builder and we discontinued using GE. I have put a call into the builder I purchased my home through and advised them. I know all a lot of the 200 homes in my neighborhood are not happy with them either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2nd Refrigerator purchased after 1st one failed after three years. tjos one lasted 4 years.

Too many problems in short period of time

Fridge came installed in new house in May 2011. Stopped cooling in August 2014, replaced thermistor. Stopped cooling again in April 2015, replaced compressor. Cooled to 2 degrees and 39 degrees, then stopped cooling two days later. Tech is coming again tomorrow, but I want it replaced.

I have owned this product for five years, and am having the same rust and ice maker complaints as below. My previous GE fridge lasted 12 years before I sold it with no issues. Very disappointed and do not plan to stick with GE after this.

Big Disappointment

I moved to a house built in 2005 and it has all GE profile line for all the kitchen appliances. They look great, but this refrigerator has nothing more than trouble. I had called the tech 5 times in 1 year. The previous owner also has 3 notes of part replacement.
After throwing lots of food in the garbage, I am switching to new brand. I would not recommend this freezer.

This refrigerator has required multiple service calls in the first five years. It is a piece of junk. DO NOT BUY IT!
