Its a great fridge. There was an initial plastic smell I had to get rid of but is working well now.

We bought this a few years now, we bought extent warranty but both the ice maker and the water dispenser was freeze up and the service came to replace it. Now the ice maker is working but the water dispenser is not working at all. That is the only problem we have

Purchased with my home in 2008 and still going strong. My only cons would be that the icemaker is REALLY loud. Love this fridge.

Nice, but bad ice delivery design

This fridge is good in that it works properly, nice features, easy to replace water filter, and looks nice. However, the ice bucket and ice delivery design is bad. The ice bucket is tilted/angled up so the ‘end’ of the ice bucket - closest to the door where ice should dispense - causes the ice to move toward the ice maker - opposite the direction that ice should flow/away from the door - where there is a switch that senses the existence of ice
and turns the ice maker off. The ice make only makes about half a dozen ice cubes and turns off. I literally have to buy ice bags from the store to keep the ice hopper/bucket full. This design will not allow the ice maker to continue to make ice.

Motherboard is defective

I'm very sad to say i bought this fridge and The motherboard is fried. This is crazy considering this fridge is barely used and I'm devastated ruined multiple times. My groceries for my kids and I. Being a mom of seven kids and funds are limited. I'm in tears trying to figure out how I'm going to afford to replace a motherboard on a fridge that should have a working motherboard. Not to mention all three of my GE washing machines including the newest one Don't work either. Come on GE
