replacement heads...

The replacement heads are supposed to last 3 months. This is not true. A toothbrush head will last about 30-45 days before needing to be replaced. Thks makes owning this toothbrush very costly, especially how much the brush is itself. I don't know if I can consider this product a good investment...disappointing.

I've purchased two sets of these toothbrushes one for myself and one for my husband. They work great but the do wear out quickly. I've had to replace them each twice or a total of four times. My husbands stopped working and was replaced about a month ago and now mine stopped working and is no longer under warranty.
Pros: works nicely cleans well
Cons: units wear out quickly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My first electric toothbrush

This is my first electric toothbrush so I have nothing to compare to but it seemingly exceeded my expectation in few different aspects:
1. Feels like going to the dentist
2. Cleans really well in tough spots with the compact head
3. Timer helps making sure I do not rush through
4. Good battery life on a single charge

Love this toothbrush!

I have been using the Philips Sonicare since 1995 when my Dentist recommended it. I use it every morning and every night. Gets my teeth totally clean and my dental tech is amazed at how clean my teeth are when I come in for my yearly cleaning (yes, yearly, don't need a cleaning every six months because my teeth are so clean!) Will never use any other type of toothbrush - this one is awesome!

Difficult to place toothpaste on brush as it rolls on flat service; brushes need replaced sooner than 3 months recommended; replacement heads expensive and very in price greatly by providers
Pros: timer, beeps when need recharging, easy recharging ability but slow
Cons: difficult to manuver in small mouths, short brush life, one size does not fit all
