Flimsy over priced toothbrush that does not last

The first 6 months that I owned my FlexCare I loved it but the experience did not last long. The toothbrush head broke in less than a year and no longer vibrated making it impossible to brush ones teeth. I am absolutely disappointed in the workmanship of this product and find it hard to believe that a product costing soooo much cannot withstand basic use. Removing the brush head in order to use the sanitizer that is provided is what appears to have done my FlexCare experience in. I used great care with this high ticket item but found it to be extremely delicate. I will not purchase another Phillips product and cannot honestly recommend it to anyone. In addition, trying to get help using the Phillips site was an exercise in frustration. I’m still in the market but will go with Oral B
Pros: provides a clean feeling, looks great
Cons: far too delicate a product, over priced, poor workmanship
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product is money well spent. I feel as if my teeth are getting a more thorough cleaning and it holds a charge for several days.
Pros: cleaner teeth
Cons: the brush heads don't last long and are expensive

Once you've opened the box, read the instructions, which are simple to understand, plugged it in to charge, all that's left to do is clean your teeth. simple as that, what more could you ask for.
Pros: great product
Cons: wish i could get spares when i break my brush.

My dentist recommended it--by brand and model--five years ago. The first one broke rather soon--the thin metal bar that sticks up and holds and operates the brush got loose. I called to find out where to take or send it to get it fixed, but apparently that isn't an option, and since it was within the warranty period Phillips sent a replacement.
Pros: easy to clean
Cons: cost of replacement brushes
