I think that using the sonicare has improved my gingavitis
Pros: uv cleaner keeps heads hygenic, travel case is well designed, philklips provides good service
Cons: price of unit, price of replacement heads

Buttons are awkward

The simple toothbrush is easy to use. The more expensive one is nice because it is more compact and easy to pack, but the control button is right where you hold it and I constantly push it by mistake. Don't really use the different speeds and I keep changing them by mistake.
Pros: compact size
Cons: speed control button in awkward place

I really like this Sonicare. After tooth-brushing I feel so fresh and clean as if I have already flossed. Great product. The only drawback is that heads are expensive.

A fine product except......

For the first 3-4 weeks I used my new Sonicare the timer function was very inconsistent. Sometimes it buzzed much sooner than 30 seconds, other times it didn't buzz at all. Luckily I've had years of experience with my very old and very reliable previous Sonicare. So I kept using the new one and finally the timer function reliably started buzzing at 30 second intervals.
