My son previously used another electric toothbrush. For some reason he favored one side of his mouth. At dental check ups one side of his mouth had thick plaque the other was clean. His dentist suggested Phillips with quadpacer action.It seems to be helping. His latest dental check up showed much better overall cleaning. The beeps remind him to move on to the next section/side of his mouth. that is a great feature. He likes it. It's doing the job. I'm happy.
Pros: like the sanitzer too
Cons: no cons.

I absolutely love my Sonicare Flexcare....My teeth feel clean all day long, I always leave my house thinking how great my teeth feel and look. The greatest thing is my toothbrush head is always clean too thanks to the UV Sanitizer. So I always use a clean toothbrush head and my teeth have never been cleaner!
Pros: uv sanitizer, easy to use, always have a clean toothbrush head

The design is good however, being right handed I have trouble getting the right side of my mouth as clean as the left side.

Never in my 60 years have I had such a good dental exam. The technician had noted six months earlier, that I had started using the Phillips Sonicare. She said the difference was amazing. The cleaning process took about half the time as usual and required less time with the picks and scrapers. I admit I was skeptical but the results showed up after only a half year.
This good report had an exciting effect on me. I've now started to brush more often with the hopes that I can improve even more six months from now.
I especially like the built-in timers. Who wants to look at your watch while brushing?
The unit I purchased came with two rechargeable brushes so my wife has started using the Phillips as well.

I started using Sonicare tooth brush about 8 years ago first time. Since than I suggested to every friend of mine and gave it as a Christmas gift to all my family members. Love it, love it, love it... My teeth health improved tremendously...
Pros: deep cleaning, whitening, easy to use, easy to clean, good customer service, great warranty
Cons: battery problems

I switched from a rotary brush at the recommendation of my dentist, and I am pleased with the results. The Sonicare is easy to use, and the quadrant timer setting is very functional. My dental hygienist says that she notices less tarter build-up on my teeth since I started using the Sonicare.
