Yes, it is a bit expensive....but sooooo worth it. Your teeth feel so clean after brushing. I have tried all of them--this is the best! Try it and you won't regret it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement due to lack of performance

I'm glad they have a two year warranty. I have had three in the last three years. Happy to say the warranty was not an issue, but now my third one is acting up, same problem. First one, the guts fell out of the bottom, Second one, top shaft too lose to vibrate and worked intermittently and the third has the same problem as the second one.I finally just took it apart and the small screw at the top loosens up after a while causing to not perform appropriately. You really need to use a "lock tight" on the screw, if you don't use it already. If you do, then you need to change to something that works. By the way, my friend has had the same problem. I am going to call and see if they will replace the replacement toothbrush.

Cleans your teeth well, but no replacement toothbrush handle!

Once the toothbrush handle stops working, you have to replace the entire unit. I would not have purchased this product if I realized this! Very wasteful and expensive.
Pros: cleans teeth well
Cons: must replace entire unit if toothbrush breaks

Product is average ....have had sonicare brushes for many years....Not sure if I would purchase another after this...primary reasons are the availability and cost of replacement brushes...
Pros: size and functionality
Cons: price and availability of replacement brushes
I would recommend this to a friend!

poor construction quality

Sonicare flexcare toothbrush does good job on teeth but poor quality product. Internal part broke (although battery was working well) and made brush unusable. Phillips not willing to replace or repair toothbrush. Given the premium price for the product, would not recommend it and will try my luck with another company.

Poor design

We have owned this toothbrush for about two years without any real issues. We noticed a tare in the rubber membrane that holds the brush. The membrane completely tore exposing the metal shaft which then pulled out. I think a toothbrush of this caliber should last longer. A very poor design!
Pros: worked fine for a while
Cons: should not have broken poor design
